What can I build?

The theme for IronHacks is to strengthen and empower high school just like you. Whatever that means to you, BUILT IT! Make sure to bring any hardware, laptops or smartphones that you want to utilize during the event. We may have some hardware such as Arduinos and Intel microcontrollers at the hackathon as well.

What if I've never been to a hackathon before?

A high school hackathon like YH: Iron Hacks is the perfect chance for you to experience what a Hackathon is like. Regardless of experience level, all are welcome to come learn, celebrate and build.

Do I need a team?

We will start with a team formation workshop to help you find a team if you don't have one. You don't need to have a team to participate though. Teams will generally be made up of 1 to 4 students.
